A Little About Me

This is just a little introduction to help you get to know me a bit better. Based on my blog name and what you've read so far, it’s probably obvious that I’m obsessed with all kinds of Asian entertainment. The entertainment industry has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Watching TV shows and movies with others is my love language. Reading books is my escape from reality, and listening to music helps me romanticize the life I’m living. I’m sure many of you can relate to this feeling.

When I was in middle school and high school, I loved acting and singing. I dreamed that maybe one day I could pursue them professionally. I’m not sure if that's still my dream, but I still have such a love for entertainment as a whole. Now, I see it differently—I’m way more interested in the behind-the-scenes aspects of the industry.

A Little About My Journey…

In 2020, like so many of us during the pandemic, I was looking for something to get me through the days. That’s when I started watching anime. It hasn’t been that long, but when I dive into something, I go all in. I made it a goal to watch 100 anime—and trust me, I did it! I also created an anime TikTok account that I poured my heart into for a while.

My very first anime was Hunter x Hunter, and to this day, it’s still my favorite. Anime opened the door to a whole new world of entertainment I never knew about, and I quickly fell into reading BL Manhwa. Unfortunately, my first BL was Killing Stalking—and if you don’t know what that is, consider yourself lucky... if you do, I’m so sorry. 😅

From there, it was inevitable that I discovered K-pop. If you love Asian entertainment, you can’t help but fall in love with K-pop. My first and still ult K-pop group is BTS and my ult bias is Jimin. But I also love Stray Kids, The Boyz, and &TEAM. I will never stop talking about them, so get used to hearing about them on here. 😉

Most recently, my biggest obsession is Thai BLs—well, really BL dramas in general—but Thailand is definitely the leader in this genre. My favorite couple? FirstKhao, and I will protect and support them at all costs! You'll probably hear me talk a lot about the BL industry here, since it's still relatively new and super interesting to me.

Anyway, I know that was a lot, but I just wanted to share a little more about who I am and what drives my love for these industries. I really appreciate anyone who's reading this—I know it’s a bit niche, but that’s what makes it special. If you have specific topics you’d like me to cover, feel free to let me know!
